Horse Ridding in Central Mongolia

This tour covers  the central and southern parts of Mongolia, you will see the amazing shifts in natural scenes.   During this tour  you could  experience the highlighting species of flora and fauna , relics of Gobi nature , unique landscape with massive sand dunes, spectacular mountain peaks, vast steppes and hidden oasis. Two-humped Bactrian camels   rambling slowly, disappearing into the blue mirage  . Piercing clearness of the blue sky, crimson sunsets and a dazzling multitude of giant stars complete the picture. A couple of major religious and historical sites  Karakorum and Uvgun Monastery . You will visit to  nomadic  herder  family explore  traditional life style .

Day 1: Ulanbator

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to hotel. City tour including a visit to the Gandan Monastery to view the impressive 20 ton statue of Migjid Janraiseg , adorned by gold and jewels, followed by a visit to the National History  Museum, Chinggis  Square and Parliament house  .  Traditional performance in the evening.  (L.D.)

Day2:  Ar burd Sand dune/ Tuv province

After breakfast in the hotel, drive to Ar burd  sand dunes, which is 150 km far from Ulaanbaatar. At noon we arrive in tourist camp and then we eat lunch in the restaurant at the camp. In the afternoon we take a short excursion in the vicinity of the camp. Visiting a nomadic family. Dinner in the camp restaurant. Overnight stay in ger camp. (B.L.D.)

Day3: Tahilgana/ Tuv province

After breakfast we will packing our luggage, We ride the horses daily 20-30 km with the   horseman attendants.  Every 3-4 tourist have 1 horseman attendant . Our team  follow the  horse ridding  route  with move away kitchen.

Day4:  Uushig/ Tuv province

Drive through mountains that Uushig. After lunch we will visit a nomadic family, and inspect  nomadic lifestyle  and hospitality of the Mongolians. Overnight stay in tents. (B.L.D.)

Day5:  Baga Khairhan Uul/ Tuv province

After breakfast ride to Baga Hairhan and Shar Chuluu. We arrive in the afternoon on the mountain Baga khairhan, the spectacular cliffs of Siberian ibex .Overnight stay in tents. (B.L.D.)

Day 6:  Bayan/ Tuv province

After galloping at high speed, you will have lunch in Senjit mountain. Afternoon continue to gallop to  Hutul  Sands. Today is worthwhile to see herds of Gazellas. Today after lunch gallop in the steppes and even visit a nomadic family. Overnight  stay in tents. (B.L.D.)

Day7: Ugalzat/ Tuv province

After breakfast take horse  ride  in green flied  toward to Ugalzat . After lunch  take rest and  continue riding to Ugazat . Overnight  stay in tents. (B.L.D.)

Day8-9: Camp Ar Burd/ Tuv province

This day  we riding towards  to   Ar burd  tourist camp . After lunch  take rest  and continue our  ridding  and reach to Ar Burd camp  before  dinner . After dinner  free time .Next  day before noon explore camp area and take a walk  , photo session  inspect Mongolian  hot stone barbecue cooking . After lunch  we ride  camel  near camp  area. Day10: Tsagaan Suvarga / Dund gobi province

Drive to Tsagaan Suvarga, This place is the name of a white limestone rock in the Ulziit Sum with a height of about 30 meters. The shape is very unusual and strange, and the result of wind and water erosion over the centuries. You can also see another interesting rock formation. This day journey is about 220 km.

Day11: Gurvan Saihan / Unmu Gobi province

Afternoon Gobi Gurvan  Saikhan  to the National Park Gobi.

Yol Valley  is spectacular Gobi-Altai Mountain range. Trek to the depth of the  deep and narrow gorge canyon with rock cliff , many years of water erosion. Besides  its spectacular natural beauty it contains  number of bird species  and animals.

Day12:  Hongoriin Els/ Unmu Gobi province

Have a  breakfast in the restaurant. Drive to Yol Valley. Here we hiking  through the gorge  valley , where we can observe the endangered animals as well as eagles and vultures are circling high above you. Overnight  stay  in ger camp / 180 km / (B.L.D.)

Day13: Hongoriin Els / Unmu Gobi province

Drive to  Hongoriin sand duns . Explore Khongoriin Els, one of the most dramatic sand dunes of Mongolia, stretching 180 km long and 3-15 km wide. At its peak point, the dune towers 30 m. high. Enjoy the sunset  on this  stunning  and remote desert  landscape , you also go to small  lake  neighboring  sand dunes walking in  green   area  carpet   with  iris.

Day14: Bayanzag / Unmu Gobi province

Trip to the Flaming Cliffs where found in 1922 an American expedition number of dinosaur skeletons and the first dinosaur eggs. Overnight stay in ger camp / 150 km /(B.L.D.)

Day15:  Ongi/ Dund Gobi province

Drive to the ancient Ongi Temple. This temple is a notable monastery on the Ongi river about 18 km from Saikhan Ovoo. Formerly one of the largest monasteries in Mongolia, it was founded in 1660 and consisted of two temples complexes on the North and South of the Ongi Gol river. It was completely destroyed in 1939 . Explore  ruins of Ongiin temple area .  Overnight stay  in ger camp / 150 km. (B.L.D.)

Day16: Karakoram/ Uvur Khangai province

Drive towards Karakorum. Explore magnificent Erdene Zuu monastery temples with grand examples of Buddhist iconography dating back to the 16th century. Visit archeological excavation sites of Kharakhorum ruins .Overnight  stay in ger camp. (B.L.D.)

Day17: Khugnu Khan National Park/  Bulgan province

 Drive to Mongol els sand  dune which extends 80 km from northwest to southeast in the vicinity Mountain Khugnu  Khan. Through this dune flows a small creek and some rare shrub species grow well here.  KhugnuKhan  mountain is 2000 m  high you can observe wild animals such as  wolwes ,  deer,   foxes ,  snow  leopards .Afternoon, we  will  trekking to mountain. Day18: Khustai National Park/ Tuv province

Drive to Hustai National Park. After about 220 km, turn on a dirt road and continue for another 20 km the Hustain Nuruu Takhi project. In the evening you can enter the semi-wild, free-ranging Przewalski, which are called by the Mongols takhi.  Then we visit the information center. Here we watch a documentary film about the project development and a presentation about listening to the project. After we eat dinner, we have free time. (B.L.D.)

Day19: Ulaanbaatar

Return to the capital city Ulanbator.  Check in to the hotel and Free time . Overnight  stay in  hotel . This day journey is  70 km.  (B.L.D.)

Day20: Ulaanbaatar

Continue city exploration.  Visit to  Zaisan Visit to Zaisan Hill – War Memorial Statue ,you can view hole city ,next we  visit Bogd Khan Palace Museum, Gobi cashmere factory shop, Department  store  .   Free time  . (B.L.D.)

 Day21: Departure

After breakfast  depart to airport .
